Sam is a multi-award winning specialist in inclusion and cultural transformation.
Her background and career have been people focused with an emphasis on creating fair access to genuinely inclusive organisations. With a track record of successfully delivering results in complex environments within commercial and public organisations, Sam is skilled at helping people develop genuine insight, and to become equipped for real change.
Sam has contributed on equity and racial equity in the workplace and has experience of supporting senior leaders and boards to develop competence in racial literacy in order to confidently lead a strategic response to tackling institutional racism.
Sam has worked at board level for a wide range of organisations, is a board advisor and holds Non-Executive Director roles.
Sam’s passion and ability to lead change, has led to numerous awards including Guardian Public Sector Award for innovative transport solutions for disabled students, Simpson King Staff Achievement Award by the NUS and Diversity Champion, Education Sector – Inclusive Companies awards.
Sam is a specialist associate with Oasis, is a core contributor to our inclusion, diversity and culture group, and has experience of working with family business.
Sam is a mother of three, and grandmother to an amazing granddaughter. She also has a Certificate in Professional Competence (CPC) for operating a heavy goods fleet (long story!!).
